Sterling Trader, Inc. is pleased to announce the release of version 6.2 of our direct access trading platforms. Sterling Trader® 6.2 addresses the ever-expanding need for the lowest possible latency in our increasingly message-intensive industry by employing our new multiple quote socket technology and automatic reconnect functionality.
At the time of log-in to any of our front-end platforms, version 6.2 will seek out the fastest connection point available within the Sterling network for each instrument type and data region and connect the trader to those points. Should the trader experience a disconnect from any of their connection points, 6.2 will immediately locate the fastest available point and reconnect the trader. Not only will this save valuable time and the hassle associated with logging off and back on to reconnect, but it will ensure the trader is accessing the fastest connection for real-time market data.
Sterling Trader® 6.2 also simplifies the log in process. Traders no longer need to enter IP addresses and ports for their initial log in. They need only enter their trader ID and password. This will eliminate confusion that sometimes results from the old process.
We hope you’ll enjoy the enhanced trading experience provided by version 6.2. Please review the release notes posted below and on our website for further details regarding this release.
