Sterling Trader Releases Version 7.0.1
 

Please be advised that new version 7.0.1 is now available on our website.  Release notes are listed below and can also be found on the Support page or our site,

While there are a handful of additions and fixes listed below, the main objective of 7.0.1 is to make the platform Unicode compliant, which will allow us to offer the platform in additional languages.  Currently, English and Brazilian Portuguese are offered.


Please pay special attention to new hot-key functionality listed in the release notes.  Attached is a document further explaining it.


NEW FEATURES:

  • Global Settings –
    • Double-click event setting added to the Level II OE page.  Current options available are ‘None’ and ‘Open Level I’.         
    • Color the Side and Send controls based on side setting added to the Level I OE page.
    • Display Level I window to provide missing order parameters (Equities) setting added to the Hot Keys page.
      • If enabled, a Level I OE window will be displayed with as many fields filled in as possible as defined by the invoking hot key.
      • Only pertains to hot keys involving Equity symbols.
      • Only takes effect in the Level I, Level II, Mini OE, Stock Watch, Position Summary, and Options Risk windows.
      • User can now leave fields blank when setting up a hot key.
  • Account List –
    • Highlight rows based on account status setting added to the Settings dialog.  User can specify the color associated with each account status.
    • Pressing the Enter key will now invoke the Edit Account dialog.
  • Trader List –
    • Sym Lmt, User1, User2, User3, User4, and User5 columns added.
    • Allow equity trading limits maint setting added to the Super Manager page.
    • Pressing the Enter key will now invoke the Edit Trader dialog.
  • Manager –
    • Sorting has been added to the Execution Destinations dialog.
  • Trading Monitor –
    • The Order Change dialog can now handle GTD orders.
  • Chart –
    • The Compute Fibonacci Retracements, Clear Fibonacci Retracements, and Pivot Calculator commands were added to the right-click menu.
  • Miscellaneous –
    • The trader’s ID will now be written to the login progress log file.
    • The Login Progress dialog will now display in the monitor with the keyboard input focus instead of the monitor with the mouse cursor.
    • CLO removed from the Price fields throughout the application.
